Connect a wallet
taker has no accounts, passwords or email. Your wallet is your identity.
Section titled “Sign in”- Open taker.trade and click Connect wallet in the top right.
- Approve the connection in your wallet (Rabby, MetaMask, or any injected browser wallet).
- Sign the message your wallet displays.
That is the whole flow. The signature proves you control the address; it authorises nothing on-chain, costs no gas, and moves no funds.
What you are signing
Section titled “What you are signing”The message names the site, your address, and a representation about jurisdiction:
taker.trade wants you to sign in with your account:0x9582…0a34
I accept the taker Terms of Service and confirm I am not accessing thisservice from a restricted jurisdiction. I represent that I am not a USperson and am not located in the United States.
URI: https://taker.tradePerpetual futures are not offered to US persons. The representation is part of the message you sign, which is why it is a signature and not a checkbox.
Switching wallets
Section titled “Switching wallets”Each address is a separate taker account with its own conversations, preferences, alerts and Hyperliquid link. That is the correct model — an address is an identity — but it means switching wallets is switching accounts, not switching views.
Select a different account in your wallet and taker’s header chip turns amber to show the mismatch. Click it and choose Switch to 0x…, then sign. Or use Sign out and connect fresh.
Signing in lets you browse markets and chat. To trade, you also need to link Hyperliquid.
